Amanda Ricci
Amanda Ricci is an assistant professor at Glendon/York University. In November 2015, she defended her dissertation, “There’s No Place Like Home: Feminist Communities, Social Citizenship and (Un)Belonging in Montreal’s Long Women’s Movement, 1952-1992,” at McGill University. Her current project, entitled “Global Citizens: Canadian Feminists at the World Conferences on Women, 1975-1985,” considers the ways in which Quebecers and Canadians imagined themselves to be part of a global community of women during the United Nations (UN) Decade for Women, 1975-1985.
