Congratulations to Camille Robert (Concordia University) on the nomination of her doctoral thesis for the Quebec National Assembly’s Political Book Prize (Prix du livre politique). Her thesis, titled “Education and Healthcare Workers Facing the Neoliberal Shift of the Quebec State (1980–1990),” demonstrates “how the neoliberal turn led to a ‘crisis of social reproduction’ that impacted the professional and personal trajectories of female workers, with lasting repercussions in the fields of education and care.”
